Hi, This is what I was talking about... users reported in the past that sometimes they get a flipped picture given a unique initialization sequence that worked fine for some other folks...
Guys, what happens when you select some other capture format, besides the bayer one, in LiveCam? (i.e, RGB24/RGB32) Do you get a colored picture? The driver contains a couple of bayer decode routines (bayer to rgb24 and rgb32), which both need to be rewritten for accuracy and speed. The next steps are: - Provide support for the native standard RGB stream on the OV9650. (and YUV?). This may require another isoc_urb_complete() implementation (at least another header detection logic). - Support the other alternative resolutions. Programs like Ekiga! require CIF (352x288) and QCIF (176x144) resolutions. - That's all! :) It's encouraging to see all this feedback :) BR, Ilyes Gouta.
