I've had an irritating experience with Guido Vermeulen and his vortice argentina projects.
Some years ago he asked for a project that involved 1.5 inch works to be included in some kind of book edition, a mix of artist works, a copy of each to be sent to participating artist. I happily contributed a box of such little works and have never seen a finished piece. Never received an acknowledgement (although I did see he listed me). After having written Vermeulen several times I've given up, and see him as yet another mail art gangster. So what did he do with my work? And the work of others? I have no idea. He doesn't write back. He pisses me off. I'll never send him another project in good faith. Screw him.
