I sincerely doubt that it is legal to refuse to deliver mail to an address
or addressee, as the name that you receive mail art under is just like a
business name. You are not receiving someone else's mail (which might indeed
be illegal). You are receiving mail addressed to your
business/organizational name. It is your mail that she is denying you access
to. You should bring to her attention that she may be placing her position
as postmaster at risk by refusing to deliver mail that she is legally
required to as part of her contract with the USPS.

Hi All!!! This is not a mail art call, just a plea for advice or help. My
postmistress sends back all my mail art because she says it's against
homeland security to get mail in someone else's name. First she said that I
would have to sign a card saying that it was me, and now she says I can't
get it at all. I've known this stupid woman all my life, our mothers were
best friends since they were 6 years old.

Is this the law or is she just being mean and stupid? (This is her
personality)

Please email me if you know anything about this.

THANK YOU!!!
