Hi Brad,
The easiest way to do this and no sighted assistance is needed is to go
to apps, settings, language and keyboard, arrow down to mobile
accessibility and place a check mark on
it. Then arrow back up to input method and hit enter or select, arrow
down to mobile accessibility and hit enter. Now you can back out of all
that and go to any app outside ma with an edit field, long pressing the
up volume key now launches the onscreen keyboard, you will need to have
your physical keyboard closed to use this and with the onscreen or
virtual keyboard open, holding the down volume key while you speak,
after a double vibrate is felt, say something and let go. to turn off
the virtual keyboard, long press the up volume key again.

I have done that and i can use MA outside of the home screen. I want
to be able to use the virtual keyboard and the speech recognition in
other apps where you can write text, for example, searching youtube or
the android market, or commenting on facebook. Thats what i want to be

Hey guys, just wondering whether anyone could tell me how to set MA up
so that i can use the speech recognition and virtual keyboard outside
of the mobile accessability applications, for example on youtube and
facebook and things like that. If someone could get back to me
quickly, it would be greatly appreciated.
