navigon is abailable on the android platform, and while good, the google
navigator app is nearly as good.

hello, listers Christopher stouton here again. I have another
interesting question for you. I was talking to some connections at the
Texas division for blind services this morning and they told me about
an app on the apple app store called navigon. they said its a really
good app that's rumored to be something like the code factory gps app.
My question is, does anyone know if the makers of navigon will be
posting that app on the android market anytime soon? I'm told it's one
of the best gps apps for blind users out there and I think I speak for
a lot of us out there, when I say that many of us could use something
like that. I wasn't given a lot of information about it, but it did
spark my interest, and I did look, and I didn't find anything that was
terribly similar to the app they told me about. I did find a talking
version of Google places, which I did download immediately, but I'm
still wanting to look at this navigon app.
