Navigon is a main stream GPS app, it will give you directions to a place, but it will not tell you where you are or what you're close to, at least not like mobile geo did. There is a version of navigon available for android, but last I heard it's not accessible, you really don't need it on android though, since google navigation works well. I was talking to some connections at the Texas division for blind services this morning and they told me about an app on the apple app store called navigon. they said its a really good app that's rumored to be something like the code factory gps app. My question is, does anyone know if the makers of navigon will be posting that app on the android market anytime soon? I'm told it's one of the best gps apps for blind users out there and I think I speak for a lot of us out there, when I say that many of us could use something like that. I wasn't given a lot of information about it, but it did spark my interest, and I did look, and I didn't find anything that was terribly similar to the app they told me about.
