I also have the Sidekick phone, and have discovered that many keys that normally would use the shift key on a standard keyboard, instead use the alt key, which is right next to the left shift key. So, press the alt key, and 3 to enter the pound sign, and alt+8 to enter the star. There is an app called Keyboard Tutor which really helps get an idea of what keys do what. It's not perfect, though. For example, I still haven't figured out how to type an apostrophe.

As these buttons aren't labeled, you will have to experiment a bit to find it and then to get to it quickly, Otherwise, you will need someone to show you where, on the screen the button is and go from there. Good Luck. On 4/22/2012 10:32 AM, Yvonne Cowan wrote: Hello, I am trying to create a new voice mail message. But I don't have a standard number pad on my phone and can't seem to use the one on the screen with MA. I've been told that the pound sign is on the number 3 just like on a computer keyboard. But when I try to use shift plus the 3 it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I'm using a t-mobile sidekick.
