It’s really sad, and at this point pathetic, that code factory, has not
been able to make these very simple adjustments to the M.A. application.
Google, have made their O.S. accessible with the new Ice-cream sandwich,
and now jellybean, and code factory is still yet to release the latest
upgraded of m.a. with the modifications that’s needed to make the android
o.s. more accessible.
I am tired and board waiting for their little simple upgrades that I am
seriously considering jumping the bandwagon, and start drinking that
apple coo-lade.
Now that both virgin, and boost mobile companies are selling the IPhone
4S, on their unlimited $55 plans.
Note: I am in no way, promoting the IPhone, but just voicing my opinion…
and frustration, on the lack of code factory’s ability to release their
little upgrade, with simple modifications.
Because of C.F. inability to accommodate their customers, I will never
buy anything from them again.
They just care to upgrade m.s. a speech program that not many people use
these days. Well at lease not here in the USA.
So thank you code factory for losing my confidence in your
company.

These things have been a year in the waiting. I am not saying, next
month have them all fixed. I Say, instead of one big byte, little
nibbles which are more manageable are what is required here. Some of
the enhancements are simple and can be rolled out quickly, others will
take longer. My point, it isn't something that can't be done and
something that should have been done. If I can get a phone with Jelly
Bean, I see little need to buy a phone that runs on Gingerbread or ICS
and paying the $$$ for MA, even if still slightly cheaper to do so. I
don't know about you, I don't have money to throw away and so when I
part with it, I want the best product I can afford. Right now, it isn't
Mobile Accessibility. Sure, for some I recommend it, but unless you are
lucky enough to get it for free, on the more modern phones with the most
up to date Android releases, there is not much that MA does better
anymore and often the benefits for using other third party applications
and stock apps when made accessible at times more then offset the
benefits of mobile accessibility. For example, I prefer MA's GMail
reader to the stock one, despite not having the capabilities to move
emails to another folder. Why, I can read my email and select links
easier in MA's version. Extending IMAP to other email services and
adding POP3 support would make the email app superior to anything out
there that can only be matched if the stock email app in Jelly bean is
accessible. I use the nightly firefox builds And if they can
distuingish between a file to be streamed, from one that needs to be
downloaded, maybe a plugin is needed, and the ability to navigate the
page and read it by chunks, it is the best browser out there. Since
google Chrome isn't available on my Gingerbread device, I can't
compare. So if there is a better alternative, free or not, people will
flee to it. Code Factory needs to remember this as well, Even though
Carriers are sometimes subsidize MA, they won't continue to do so if
they don't have to and guess what, it is getting to the point where they
don't have to. As a result, Code factory needs to make their product
something that people will continue clambering for.
By the way, I have a degree in software engineering and write code, so I
am well aware of the difficulties. I am also a customer and I don't
care, I don't want promises when I buy a product, I want it to work and
work as I expect it to.

This, and other feature enhancements were called for from the
beginning. Only one request, adding braille support was implemented,
and many enhancements that should have been implemented simultaneously
were not. I suppose, as a free option paid for by the cellular
carriers, we should be grateful for what we have, but for those of us
that shelled out the one hundred dollars to purchase a half baked
product, we expect to do everything that the native apps do, nothing
less. We have less right now and have been basically told by code
factory, we will determine what you really need. It isn't thier job to
tell us, but to respond to our demands. Now let's see if we can get
the enhancements we requested. If they rise to the challenge, we
should have had peridocal updates that add these function enhancements
we requested from this point forward. It shouldn't take more than a
month for each enhancement to be coded, tested, and packaged for an
update.
