No, that's the only big problem with Nisus I've found thus far, you can create tables easily enough but you can't read them with Voiceover.
You can insert tables where you like in your documents and you can see them with Voiceover - that is to say you can see where they are in the document and you know what they are with Voiceover - but they appear as images thus Voiceover can't read them. The developers of the Nisus Writer software are aware of this problem.
