Hello everyone, I'm sending this again since some of you seem to have missed it last week.
Maybe other people here already knew about this, but I just discovered today that you can make tables visible in Pages by selecting one and going to the Format menu and down to the Table submenu where you select Convert Table to Text. The contents of the table are then readable with VoiceOver. You still have to copy the table into Numbers to edit it effectively, but if all you want to do is read it, this solves that problem.
