I would be extremely careful when moving files around via osx. I've
encountered a bug where my files appear to show up in the proper
place, but after I reboot, all trace of the files are gone. This
isn't on lion, but on leopard and snowleopard. It happens most often
when moving files between devices, but it has happened when just
moving things around on the same disk too.
Just saying, be careful with the move command. It's nice to finally
have the ability to do this from finder, but just be careful using it
until it's been thoroughly tested.
