Gordon:
Thanks for your comments. The only reason for the switch is that one can
throw one of those computers in a small kit bag with the rest of one's
stuff. Again, thanks much.

HiJim
I used to have one that a friend made for me. But it stopped working on
the 2010 models I tried. Ours are server models and they seem to
sometimes work alright without the display but not always.
The primary server is a 2009 MacBook, (late 2009) and it definitely
requires a display. The mid 2010 versions seem to need it but not always.
My advice to you to be utterly honest would be stick with what you have
unless you have a compelling reason to switch. You'll lose a lot of the
advantages of the MacBook series and other than additional ports I can't
see why you'd want to switch to the Mini being totally honest.
The Mini is not designed for portability. It is marketed as a desktop
computer. That's why it is logical that it needs a monitor.

I don't suppose there is a way to have a dummy terminator plug to fool the
computer in thinking that it is connected to a display?
Cheers.

I think you'll need some sort of display connected to the Mini in order
to use it. If it's the same as the 2009/2010 models, they made it so
that it wouldn't work properly without a monitor.

Hi Folks:
I am considering celling my MacBook Pro in favour of a Mac Mini for
portability reasons. Is there anything that I should know about the mini
with regards to accessibility?
Thanks all over the place gang.
