Hi! What is also interesting is that VoiceOver completely seems to ignore anything else on the screen in the same application, for example iTunes when the beach ball is there. If you are organizing a library, for instance, a sighted user can look at the screen and tell the progress while busy, VoiceOVer cannot. Similarly, you can even set preferences while iTunes is busy, and VoiceOver still does not pick up on this. Another situation where this is doable is if writing an email, or a URL in Safari. VoiceOver thinks the application is completely unusable, but it is far from that. I've always thought that was a massive limitation ever since Leopard, and it still exists, at least here.
