Hello Courtney:

You are correct, andI would suggest if you can do a TimeMachine backup and
after installing Lion, you'll be asked if you want to restore from a
TimeMachine backup.

Subject: Re: restoring my backed up materials after clean install of lion?

Hi,
Thanks for this, but won't that restore me back to SL, if I back up before
I clean install? The backup I have is bootable.
Thanks,
Courtney

don't use super duper but you should be able to do a bootable back up and
restore everything including apps, keys, passwords, etc.

curious, how do I restore my stuff, for example, internet key codes,
application keys, and all my files. I have my mini backed up with Super
Duper. Is this even possible, especially the restoration of all the key
codes, so I don't have to ask for sighted help to read me the codes?
