Hi John, It doesn't appear that you can restore from the super duper volume, so therefore, I freed up space on one of my external drives and did a time machine backup. I'll let you know what happens. But before I go ahead with the clean lion install, I do have one question. When I do a restore from the time machine backup, can I choose what's restored? Thanks, Courtney
