Whether or not the files are properly tagged in itunes has nothing to do with what program did the ripping. It's a result of which tags are physically located inside the mp3 files themselves. If you used a fairly full featured mp3 converter, then all your tags are correct, and importing them into itunes will work just fine. If on the other hand, your files were simply converted, and no thought/processing was given to the mp3 tags at all, then itunes will treat them as if the mp3 tags aren't there (since in fact, they aren't). I'd say try importing one or two of them, and this will tell what the status is, and you can go from there. Regardless, there's no need to rip all the cds again, simply use a program that adds proper tags to mp3 files, and you'll be all set. Others on list have used such programs, and can probably suggest one, but if the tags aren't present, then you'll either need to add tags before importing, or import them, then modify all their information afterwords.
