Hi Travis, I'm talking about hundreds of files here, so I'm sure hoping I don't have to do all that editing! The mp3 files were originally created in Windows Media Player on my old PC. Thanks so much for your explanation, and if anyone out there can tell me of a good program for tagging mp3 files, I would be most grateful! I was considering opening the files in iTunes so that they would show up in my music table. Would I be better off to copy the files into the iTunes music folder in my Home folder? Again, anyone's ideas on how to accomplish this most efficiently would be much appreciated!
