Hello Lewis

That's a very extensive answer to a dumb question from somebody who should know
better. Thank you. I've used that before, I simply forgot.

Visually you can just tap an app, of course, which is what I do most of the
time. The gestures that VO uses are quite different from the visual set in some
respects and, although I do go out of my way to use VoiceOver very frequently,
I still forget things now and then. Visually abled people are so lazy sometimes
when we use these devices; which makes it all the more amazing how those with a
visual impairment and, especially, those with total visual loss manage to cope
with what is a very dynamic and challenging environment. I admire all of you
very much; and I just wish I could do more to help.

• Using VoiceOver, you tap the home button twice to access the App Switcher.
then, you double tap and hold on an App, until you hear a bubble-like sound (3
rapid, up-rising tones).
then VoiceOver will say Editing Apps.
Then double tap each App and you will hear the double tap click. Do this until
you hear VoiceOver say: App Switcher has no items.
