Hmmm, I always do activate the app switcher from the home page so I never knew this. If you activate AS from a different page, some apps are not in there?

hi lin press the home key twice quidkly and that will take you in to the app
switcher then double tap and hold the first app till it says edditing apps
then you can double tap each app to remove it.
