Thanks This is pretty much what I do, voiceover calls the ' key accent but we are using the same keys. I think the problem occurs when a window you cycle to using this command, is then hiding the window you are trying to drag from. Often the issue is when you are trying to drag out of one application into another. I know for definite that this has variable outcomes. For example I have successfully dragged and dropped a bookmark from Safari onto the desktop which is quite a useful feature. On other occasions I try this and other operations and get the message no visible window to perform action etc. The problem is somehow ensuring both the window you are dragging from and the window you are dragging to is visible. Obviously for many of us this is difficult to check so I thought expose may be a way of forcing windows to be visible. I will check this out myself when I get the time.

Just use the Finder command (Command+N) to open a new window and cycle through the open windows using Voice+single quote, (next to the Z on your keyboard). So it really shouldn't be too difficult if you do it that way. Of course, it may be that there are other factors at work here as well. I often get the message that drag and drop will not work because the window is not visible. As I understand it the point of expose is to arrange all windows so that they are visible. Is that is the case, would that help users of voiceover with drag and drop who cannot arrange windows themselves? Or would using command accent or windows chooser stop expose working? <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
