Hello everybody; Lynne here writing from our hotel room.

I would say a definite "Yes" when asked this question. I do, however, disagree
with Sarah's suggestion. I would advocate MacScan as your AV utility, and
PriveScan from SecureMac to protect against malware and spyware.

Don't ever rest on your laurels and assume that the Mac or any other OS is
100%. I also think that, if you are able, it's worth while paying the price for
something like MacScan because the free ones are only updated about once a
month at most and that in-between times could be crucial to you.

I don't want to be alarming here; Mac OS is not as vulnerable as Windows by any
means. All the same I wouldn't just scoff and say "I'm safe on my Mac".

Just my tuppence-worth.

Lynne

My view points have slightly changed. I used to say no not at all, but when
flash back hit this year and some others I said maybe. I'm still on maybe. I
would use sophos anti virus. It's free and the only thing that's hard to use is
the quarantine option with voice over but it is quite good.
