Yeah. go to a friend's computer or a library one, sign in to the app store 
under your account, download lion or what ever and make a flash disk and then 
take it to the off line computer and then install it by booting in to the flash 
disk.

This is the reason why I can't use the recovery tool. My internet right now is 
so spotty I don't want to spend 2 days downloading 4 gigs. lol! So I'll just 
make the flash drive and stick it in when I need to do a clean instal and it 
will take about 3 hours including the transferring of data from a back up drive.
