Hi Chris You're missing the point, yes. You do not necessarily have to register the OS I don't think, not immediately, anyway. I don't want to start discussing Windows but I'm sure it's possible to install Mac OS X without being online. I see that you are still using Windows for your mail. That is unfortunate. :)
