Yeah. go to a friend's computer or a library one, sign in to the app store
under your account, download lion or what ever and make a flash disk and
then take it to the off line computer and then install it by booting in to
the flash disk.
This is the reason why I can't use the recovery tool. My internet right
now is so spotty I don't want to spend 2 days downloading 4 gigs. lol! So
I'll just make the flash drive and stick it in when I need to do a clean
instal and it will take about 3 hours including the transferring of data
from a back up drive.

You know guys, and this is no disrespect to Apple, but I don't like how
they want you to install their software now. I read from their support
web pages that an internet connection is required to install Lion or
later. Well I have a point. What if you do not have either an ethernet or
wireless connection? Is there any ways around this? Thanks!
