Personally I go to quick nav setting s in Voiceover and enable first letter
navigation.
This is only available from lion onwards I think.
When this is set it is pretty easy to use Safari.
With quick nav on you can jump to
H for heading
F for form field
B for button and so on.
Pressing right arrow will element or paragraph at a time.
Also the item chooser is your friend on a Safari page as it is a rapid way
to search for text or elements on a page.

Press command left arrow to go back a page.

Come out of quick nav by pressing both left and right arrow if you want to
enter text in an edit box.

Subject: Help with browsing the net.

Hi all

Very new to the Mac and looking for some basic help.

If I'm using safari are their basic key strokes I can use for getting around
web pages? For example how do I easily find where I need to type in a web
address? Also, how do I easily find an edit box to type something in and
things like a submit button etc.

This is all very new to me so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kaz
