Thanks anyway. Before I give up totally, I will check
some other unix resources to see if any applications can be
transplanted to the Mac. There are a number of free VM packages
in the Linux and FreeBSD worlds that might conceivably work if
one can port them to a Mac. I'll let this list know if anything
turns up, but don't hold your breath.
