talking  curves  for tempo and reverb and other effects. Not pan levels. that I 
know how to do. and those are not automation. btw. the pann stays there but you 
cannot let  say adjust a guitar to go from left to right through out the piece 
like in the reggae style. or have a swoosh go from left to right and back. 
Those are automation curves. and the only way you can do that is with a control 
surface I believe. or so I've found out through other peeps.
