Well this is the text I read on the web
Beginning of quote
iPad, iPad 2 and the new iPad are excellent tools for eBook reading. You can
download or purchase from the iBookstore. You can also add DRM-free ePub
books and PDFs to your iTunes library. There are several websites that offer
books in ePub and PDF format. As it is known to all, you can't transfer a
PDF or ePub eBook to iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch directly with iTunes. But now
with Syncios iPod Transfer, you can transfer an ePub or PDF formatted eBook
to your device.
End of quote

This was from the information on the freeware application which turned out
to be not accessible.
It is apparently not at all "known to all" that you cannot transfer an Epub
book using Itunes to read on an Ipod.
It seems to me that something is odd here if you are managing to send epub
books to Ibooks using Itunes , a step which they are claiming is impossible.
Are you using Itunes to get the books on your device?

Tha'ts odd. I convert some books to epub and it worked. Ar you saying this
now is not the case? If so that's an odd limitation indeed.
