Hello everybody

There is one aspect which nobody has touched on yet. That being the server 
configuration requirements. How is the average man in the street supposed to 
handle that, assuming they don't pay a provider to do it for them?

As long as the pod is accessible to play, then there is no issues from the 
average user. So the people that this effects is podcasters which is even a 
smaller group then the whole VI group.
