Harry's post has got it. One thing I noticed with my setup (G4 and a PB
180c/OS7.5.3) is that for OSX networking to work, you must use Open
Transport networking on your Classic OS machine; so called "classic
networking" may still be running, especially if you used it before and
upgraded the OS from a previous version.
There is a utility installed in an "extras" folder that will switch
everything over to OT if you still have classic networking installed; it's
called something like "Network Selector" (I can't check for sure because I'
m charging a battery on the PB and don't want to wake it from sleep for a
few more hours).
One good method to check is to log on and go to Apple's website, it doesn'
t display properly if OT isn't used.

I would appreciate any guidance. Thanks, Claudio ..."
