What does the warning label read on these new CD's EXACTLY?  If it does 
not explicitly say that it could cause damage if you put it into a PC 
(rather than "attempt to play" or "copy") they are in serious trouble 
here.

BTW, Phillips has made a commitment to making CD drives for computers 
that bypass this copy protection problem.  It won't be long until they 
are reengineered again.

They are doing something wrong here.  The reason it is wrong is because 
they are not attacking pirating.  They are attacking copying; which is 
perfectly legal and something an owner of the CD is entitled to do.  I 
personally will never purchase one of these protected CD's.  And am 
considering putting off all music purchases until this situation changes.
