I have had three books made for Mother's Day and Christmas two
years past and the year before, with iPhoto 2 or whatever version number
was freely available. Everyone was very pleased with the results (pictures
of grandkids are hard to do poorly though). The printing quality is similar
to a colour laser printer - not as good as a good inkjet on specialty
paper, but very presentable.

I do not recall shipping issues particularly, but they did take a
few more days than I would have liked to Vancouver.

Overall, I would repeat the gift (and have been meaning to now that
we have two kids).
