        You are probably correct that a local printer might be able to do
something as good or better, possibly for less money. The Apple advantage
(as in many things) is that it is very efficient compared to the
alternatives - particularly if you are already using iPhoto for your photo
storage. Creating the book and hitting the "buy" button is significantly
easier than shopping for a local business to work with and helping them
figure out how to do what you want, and all that stuff. The Apple solution
can be done 24/7 as well, which fits with the parenting stuff.
