Just for kicks I gave this a looksee using a Save As on a newspaper's main
page -- lots of tables and adverts to confuse matters. After opening the
.html file in BBEdit, doing a Search for an arbitrary spot and adding
'XXXXX' at the point I wanted to find later, I saved and closed the file.
Reopening the .html file in Safari, doing a Search for XXXXX brought me
right back to where I wanted to be. Works like a charm.
All the steps included in the event the original poster experiences
problems trying the same technique. And doing a Save As on the .html means
it would be possible to work offline if there is no dedicated DSL available.
