Thanks, Andrew. I'm definitely having several of those duh! moments --- all the searches I did for Firewire enclosures came up with enclosures for hard drives and because I was looking at 3.5" enclosures, none of the specs were mentioning the enclosures could be used for 5.25" DVD burners. Stupid, stupid, stupid. But now I'm wondering -- the only difference (all things considering) between an enclosure for a hard drive and an enclosure for a CD/DVD... is the faceplate?
