Hi I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to get a friend's Stylewriter 1200 to work. He acquired it secondhand, at which time it worked fine. When it stopped printing he put in a new cartridge. It worked for a few days then failed again. Since then he's tried another new cartridge and had no success. I've just tried another new one which printed a couple of lines before failing yet again.
It's not the serial cable because the test sheet won't print either. We've tried Canon, generic and Apple cartridges, to no avail. Any suggestions?
