Have put a new IDE drive in my friend's 6500/250 and re-installed all of the software. Everything is hunky-dory except that I simply cannot get the internal Geoport modem to talk to the outside world. I've finally got it to actually dial but get no response at all. I'm using OS 8.6 with FreePPP and have tried to copy, where possible, the settings which works perfectly well on my 7300/OS 8.6 set-up. HELP!
