Actually the first is correct (albeit with a misplaced hyphen and one digit too many). The area code for London is 020, the 7 and the 8 are part of the telephone number in the same way as the 20 added to Cardiff telephone numbers to make them eight digits when the area code became 029. After 01 became 071 and 081 I guess they didn't want to make a big deal of going back to a single area code for London and admit they had been made a mistake the first time. For computer manufacturers it must be a nightmare as the UK system is now a complete mess of three digit (020), four digit (0116) and five digit (01482) area codes so there is no national standard by which you can format a UK number. It is hardly surprising most people get confused though. All that is an aside, I'm sorry to say though I can't help you. I don't use Entourage and I'm on OS X. I did have a quick look in the v.X version and the telephone number was just a simple text box and I could format the number however I liked.
