Thanks for the thought Gerard, but I've sorted out Xplora. I was trying to
double-click on the installer, which normally launches Stuffit - but
eventually discovered that copying the installer to my hard disk, and then
double clicking it did the trick. Excellent stuff from Peter Gabriel - years
ahead of his time, as ever.

Also had problems getting Terry Pratchett's Discworld to work, until I came
across some online advice to turn off file-sharing. That did the trick!

Good to see there's some list representation in Sussex - I met there's more
than a few Mac users in 'design city' Brighton.

And a bit of encouragement for John Abrahams - most of my Macs cost me 25
or less. The Classic came from a car boot sale for a tenner, the LC for 12
from a Cash Converters second hand shop and so on. My Newtons were more
expensive, but even those (apart from the upgraded 2000) were 10-60.
Buying and selling on eBay helps fund things pretty well.

I'm after some Apple speakers for a 7300, if anyone's about to throw any
out. If you're looking for a trade, I've got an external Lacie CD player, a
Motorola 28.8 modem, some transceivers and plenty of SCSI or LocalTalk
cables if they're of any use to anyone ...

Cheers

Russ, West Sussex
