Aaaaaargh.....I need help again : (((((

I networked the two machines, and got my old HD showing on the
desktop of the iMac.

I dragged it to the new HD and I got a message saying copying was in
prgress and would take 4 hours. I went away. Two hours later I came
back and the iMac was frozen and the progress message said 3 hours,
so it must have happened after an hour.

I took out the cable and restarted the iMac with a paper clip in the
hole, and it chimed....but the icon that came up was not the happy
Mac, but a floppy disc flashing a question mark.

I have tried to reboot again with the same result (having unplugged
the machine and left it for a couple of minutes).

Should I try to reboot from the system CDs?

Or what?

TIA

Heather
