Dear all, I've just managed to buy a "barebones" 7600 on eBay ie it's lacking drives and memory but at least has a motherboard and a power supply!
I'm planning to transplant all these features and more from my venerable 7200 which has served me well but is not affordably upgradeable to a G3 or G4. Could anyone tell me if the system running on my 7200 (8.6) is likely to run with little modification on the 7600 or would I be better off doing a clean install and then adding in all the bits like printer drivers and USB card extensions. Any help, as ever, gratefully received.
