Could anyone tell me if the system running on my 7200 (8.6) is likely to run

extensions.

The only 7200 specific thing that springs to mind is the Catalyst Sound patch in the extensions folder which you should not need on the 7600. So if you are just swapping across I see no reason why it should not work fine if you have all the drivers you need. It is occasions like these that present a good opportunity to give everything a good sort through and some may advocate doing the "back to square one" routine anyway, just as a good dicipline. Some may also suggest changing to OS9.1 though I would be tempted to stick with 8.6.

You might find Dan Frakes' INFORMINIT a useful companion when trying to decide what everything does in the earlier system folders.
