Bob, I'm running a GT-5000 on a G3 upgraded 7600 with OS8.6. I seldom use it as the iMac has the USB scanner which is more flexible to use, but I was happily running the EPSON last night.
Are you using the latest version of the Epson TWAIN software? The version I have is 3.21E although the scanner came with earlier versions which presumably had come bundled with the original purchase. I am also using EPSON Scan! II version 2.15E. Within the TWAIN folder in Preferences are the following files: EPSON TWAIN 3 (version 3.21E) EPSON Scanner Monitor Prefs EPSON TWAIN 3 Help EPSON TWAIN 3 Pref EPSON TWAIN 3 Settings Source Manager (version 1.7) - I think this comes from Graphic Converter TWAIN Preferences EPSON Calibration Profiles folder EPSON Scanner Monitor folder Within the Extensions folder I can find: TWAIN Support folder - put there by Graphic Converter TWAIN Source Manager - a library file/extension which I think has again come from Graphic Converter EPSON Scanner Monitor (version 1.04E) - extension I can't find anything else related to the scanner apart from the scanner appplications sitting together in a folder. Hope this helps! Cheers Martin on 5/12/03 7:44 pm, Bob Bonnington at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > Grateful if anyone can tell me what parts of the twain set-up should be put > where.
