The Mac driver on Brothers web site dates from Nov 1998, and it is the oldest colour laser they list. Also consumables for old colour lasers are expensive and you don't know how much life is left in them. Due to its age I doubt brother will ever write an OSX driver for it. If you did collect it to try under OS9, take out the fuser first. It uses fuser oil and this could run into the printers guts if not kept completely horizontal.
