How odd. I'd try all the usual diagnostics like Zapping the PRAM, unplugging the Hard Disk, sliding the board out an pressing the CUDA switch for about 30 secs, and reseating the RAM, then report back.
Update on progress of 5260
Pressed CUDA switch, Nothing so tried to start up from Tech-tool pro CD. CD tray wont eject, Resort to hair grip and Lo a 9.1 system disc in drive. So start up pressing C every thing fine boots up fine (Not enough memory to install OS 9 only 24 meg), Blank HD 800meg .
Next step copy System seven onto floppy from Tech-tool pro just to start up floppy drive broken raid lc-475 for working floppy, fine. Scrounge 16meg 72 pin up to 32meg install 9.1 runs very slow and intermittently wont find hard disk wont remember time but apart from all that great freebie out of a skip nice bit of recycling.
SO has anyone a copy of OS 8 or know of any cheep sources of said software also any cheep 72pin 32meg simms? And a mother board battery OR alternatively a better motherboard (easiest option)
Many thanks
