Oh, right. I hadn't looked at the iBooks. The 12" PB is certainly better though I'd like to see it with essentially the same features as its big brothers. It still lacks equivalent graphics support, Firewire 800, S-video port, Gigabit Ethernet and an illuminated keyboard.

The lower spec-ed 15" PB doesn't have the illuminated keyboard either. But I do agree, I bought the original PB 12" because I wanted something small and portable, I don't see why that means I don't want all the features of the rest of the series. FW800 for one should be a standard on all new Macs, not a high-end feature. I really don't understand why Apple treat this model as a poorer relation of the range.
