I haven't even tried ftp except using fetch which I downloaded from .mac
and I'm not even 100% with what's going on with that. Like why can't I
ftp an entire folder with it,
and not individual files?

One of these days I'll make a decision and buy Fetch/Transmit/whatever, but right now I have a decent FTP application on the Windows box, so I can't really justify it unless I can convince myself I'll be more productive and it'll be more fun...
...hang on, how sad do you have to be to find an FTP program fun?
