Thanks for the replies.

Daniel,
I have the BT-Yahoo 512kbps subscription working with my iMac
With Mac OS 10.3?

If the modem they supply doesn't, list it on ebay and buy one that does.
I'm told that 10.3 will not work with usb ADSL modems.

Lyall,
Places like dabs do DSL routers for under =A340...
Yup, I've just ordered one.

Roger,
I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work, except that the=20
supplied modem might not be Mac-compatible so you just need to buy your=20=
modem.
I'm told 10.3 won't work with any USB ADSL modem.

Stuart,
You should have no problems with a router, so I'd wait until you have=20
it. There are none of the s/w issues you get with USB ADSL modems.
I'm hoping that's true!

Matt,
Basically, any standalone hardware based solution with ethernet ports should
be cool.
That's why I'd love to hear from anyone with the BT Broadband Basic, working on a mac with OS 10.3.

Steve,
Been using a BT Voyager 2000 wireless ADSL router/modem for over a year
with no probs, the line was just upgraded to 1mb today and all still
works just fine.
Are you on 10.3? Were you on Broadband basic?

Thanks again for the replies.
I'd still love to hear if anyone using Mac OS 10.3 and BT Broadband basic?

Cheers,
Davy
