Did anything ever come of this? I couldn't load the page in my browser.
Not loading for me either, my guess is that someone got bored of the idea and shut the server down.
How is it supposed to work? People with broadband connections download the updates, then what? burn them to a CD and send them off to the person with only a modem? What about the cost of discs and postage? if you charge this, won't apple have something to say about it? I love the idea, not that I would need to make use of it.
I'd love to help if I can. Perhaps I could host a "mirrors" type list on The Macintosh Council? A webring? I don't have the webspace to actually be a mirror right now myself though.
This is exactly the kind of thing the Mac Council is about, helping out the Mac community.
