You'll enjoy that, guaranteed! I just moved house and the few weeks between
made me realise how much I love and rely on Broadband! I also notice that
the houses in the UK (fantastic generalisation this, but what the hell I'm
North American) are not as well shielded as on the continent or at least
Germany. My Snow ABS gives me all but the last range bar indicator even with
three floors separation between the AlBook and ABS! (Not complaining, mind).

Had good experience with Virgin personally. They have decent Mac support
even if you tell them you are not using their Thompson Modem package...and
were knowledgeable about the OS and issues with third party routers (the
support options are expensive though).

They are finally going to bring in the ability to deal with the virgin.net
mail online through a web browser at the end of the month (was told around
the 28th).

BTW, those whinging about cable modem contention ratios, consider yourselves
lucky that you can get cable modems at all...I am still in shock that smack
downtown Newport does not let me get any cable TV or internet...so BT
landline here I am again ;-(
